Join the team as Customer Service or Production employee.  All positions require a passion for serving customers and teamwork.  On a busy shift  everyone must pull their weight to serve customers and run the business so if you like being on a winning team and the challenge of being the best you will love this environment.  Some minimum qualifications apply and these will be explained during the application process.




Shift Leader

Over 90% of our Shift Leader started as Team Members.   This is our first supervisory level in the restaurant and Shift Managers play a critical role in leading the team and running the business.  In addition to leadership skills, Shift Managers will learn how to run a business, manage cost, control inventory and cash and analyze financial statements.




Assistant Manager

This is the next step of leadership in the restaurant and over 75% of our Assistant Managers advanced from the Shift Manager position.  Assistant Managers are full time supervisors.  They are the right hand of the Restaurant General Manager and partner with them to run the business.  Assistant Managers earn bonus dollars based on the financial success and guest satisfaction of their unit.  Assistant Managers are trained on all of the responsibilities of a Restaurant General Manager to prepare for the next level of leadership.




Restaurant General Manager (RGM)

Now you have arrived!  You are running a business.   RGM’s are responsible for driving sales, controlling costs, achieving operations standards, leading teams and developing future leaders. RGM’s earn bonus dollars based on the financial success of their business.  As an RGM you will learn every aspect of running a successful business.  Over 80% of Restaurant Managers advanced from the Assistant Manager position.

Area General Manager (AGM)

Top performing RGM’s can advance to multi-unit leaders and supervise 6 to 8 restaurants.  AGM’s are coaches for their RGM’s. They are responsible for the success of their RGM’s and provide training, business analysis and advice and daily coaching to help their RGM’s run profitable businesses. AGM’s also receive bonus dollars based on the financial success of their RGM’s.

Region Manager (RM)

Region Managers supervise regions of 30 to 60 restaurants.  Region Managers are key operations executives within NPC and are involved in decision making and strategic planning at the company level.  Many of our NPC Region Managers followed the career path you have just walked through.  They understand the business, our customers and our people and use that knowledge to drive results at NPC.
